The curriculum gives students chances to expand and deepen their understanding across various electrical engineering disciplines. With guidance from a faculty advisor, each student can design a study plan focusing on specific electrical engineering specialties or choose relevant courses from allied science and engineering departments.
For Ph.D. admission 3.5 based on MSEE or equivalent.
Students with a BS in other fields are encouraged to apply, but they may be required to remedy a lack of required EE courses by taking some undergraduate EE courses.
The program will give preference to students with a TOEFL score of 79 for the internet-based test with a minimum of writing 22, speaking 21, reading 20, listening 16 in each of the four categories. Alternatively, IELTS scores of 6.5 in all categories will be viewed similarly.
Graduate Application Priority Dates - Fall: March 15; Spring: August 15; Summer: February 15.
