The Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art is a four-year degree program allowing focused specialization in various disciplines including ceramics, drawing, film arts, glasswork, painting, photography, print media, three-dimensional art, or visual design. This BFA track is designed for students seeking intensive specialization within a single studio practice.
Our globally renowned research initiatives deliver exceptional training at both undergraduate and graduate levels across theoretical, practical, and innovative art forms, design methodologies, and digital media. These programs are enriched through partnerships with local museums, professional internships, and collaborative ventures, equipping graduates with unique perspectives as they transition into creative careers.
Students must have completed official secondary school transcripts, diplomas, certificates and/or national test examination scores as appropriate for the educational systems in their country. In order to be considered for freshman admission students must have completed secondary school studies equivalent to that of United States high school graduation.
The minimum acceptable score on the TOEFL is 79 on the Internet-based test, 550 on the paper-based test and 213 on the computer-based test. The IELTS can be substituted for TOEFL scores. The minimum acceptable overall score of 6.5 is required for admission. Scores must be sent directly to UT Arlington from the Testing Service to be considered official.
