Management involves setting objectives and developing strategies for an organization while guiding employees to meet these goals using available resources. This process encompasses planning, organizing, leading, coordinating, and tracking performance. Managers serve as key decision-makers who must stay aware of social, political, economic, and technological factors affecting their industry. The AACSB-accredited 120-credit degree program offers 12 to 15 extra management courses alongside core business studies. UTA's BBA in management provides four specialization paths: Human Resource Management, Entrepreneurship/Small Business, International Management, and General Management.
Graduates with a management degree can access diverse career opportunities across all industries and economic sectors, including finance, government, hospitality, nonprofits, technology, transportation, and energy. Some choose entrepreneurial paths by joining startups or launching their own ventures.
