The anthropology bachelor's degree equips students for professional paths in archaeology, cultural anthropology, and biological anthropology. Our program fosters intercultural understanding and practical abilities through an engaging curriculum that combines hands-on fieldwork with laboratory training. Graduates from our program create meaningful global impact. The University of Texas at Arlington features an intimate, student-focused department with a multicultural faculty. With intentionally limited class sizes, anthropology students enjoy more direct faculty interaction and enhanced career guidance. Following core coursework in anthropological fundamentals (Global Cultures, Archaeology, and Biological Anthropology), students can specialize in areas that spark their intellectual curiosity. We provide specialized methodology and theory classes aligned with each student's professional aspirations. Our adaptable language requirement readies students for intercultural engagements both locally and internationally. Through various field schools, international study options, and undergraduate research projects, students gain distinctive learning opportunities that impress both future employers and graduate admissions committees.
