The Master of Science (MS) in audiology is exclusively offered to students admitted into and actively pursuing the AuD program. This master's degree serves as an intermediate step for doctoral candidates. To qualify, students must maintain satisfactory progress in the AuD program, complete at least 42 credits of 500 or 600-level coursework (excluding ASP 512 Clinical Practice in Audiology and 515 Practicum in Aural Rehabilitation), and successfully pass a qualifying exam or equivalent. The student's academic advisor must approve the MS in Audiology award. Students must submit the Intent to Graduate Form at the start of their final term and provide an approved master's degree plan to the UTHSC Office of the Registrar within the first two months of that term.
