The Music Education specialization provides three pathway options: Kod√°ly Certification, Secondary Instrumental Pedagogy, and Secondary Vocal Pedagogy. This curriculum comprises 15 credit hours in the major field, six hours of complementary Music Theory and Music History courses, nine hours for the Kod√°ly Certification path (or six hours for either Secondary Instrumental or Vocal Pedagogy tracks), three elective hours for the Instrumental and Vocal Pedagogy options, plus a one-hour Music Education Capstone Project. Students will plan their academic journey in collaboration with their graduate advisory committee.
