Given that a significant portion of legal practice involves business representation, the Business Transactions program enables second- and third-year law students to focus their education on corporate and financial legal matters, addressing the requirements of businesses of all sizes. Numerous faculty members bring experience from top-tier law firms' transactional departments, equipping them to design a curriculum that provides hands-on training in business law - covering both deal-making attorneys and commercial dispute specialists. The Business Transactions concentration was partly established to leverage this practical expertise, with oversight from the College's Center for Entrepreneurial Law.
