The Human Resource Concentration in UT Martin's MBA program was first introduced in Fall 2021. Prior to its creation, both UT Martin alumni and graduates from other universities lacked opportunities to study advanced human resource concepts at this level.
This specialized certificate mainly serves two purposes: First, it enables UT Martin MBA graduates and master's degree holders from other schools to complete 12 credit hours of advanced HR coursework, equipping them with essential professional knowledge. Second, it provides graduates from all academic backgrounds the chance to develop expertise in advanced human resources, irrespective of their undergraduate major. This specialized training can help professionals enhance their careers or prepare for further graduate studies in human resource-related fields.
