The DNP - Nursing program typically requires post-master's students to complete at least 36 semester credits. Under the guidance of a faculty chair and committee, each student will create and execute an evidence-based Translational Project aimed at addressing a critical healthcare challenge. Additionally, students must fulfill extra clinical requirements to achieve the required 1,000 post-baccalaureate training hours, a hallmark of DNP education. Those entering with a master's degree may transfer up to 500 previously earned clinical hours toward this total requirement.
