Physics explores the nature of matter, energy, and their interactions across all scales, from the smallest particles to the vast cosmos. As the most foundational physical science, its principles underpin all other natural sciences. Our undergraduate physics program delivers comprehensive training in core physics concepts while allowing customization through specialized tracks: academic, astronomy, or general concentrations. The academic track prepares students for physics-related careers or advanced study in fields like engineering, astronomy, or computational science. The astronomy option caters to those pursuing graduate studies in astronomy or astrophysics. The general concentration supports students applying physics knowledge to diverse fields including education, healthcare, law, media, business, or other personal interests. Universal Tracking (uTrack) serves as an academic guidance system to promote timely degree completion. This system establishes semester-specific milestones - including required coursework and minimum GPA standards - to keep full-time, degree-seeking students progressing toward graduation.
