Physics explores the nature of matter, energy, and their interactions across all scales, from the smallest particles to the largest cosmic structures. As the most foundational scientific discipline, its principles underpin all other natural sciences. Our undergraduate physics program delivers comprehensive training in core physics concepts while allowing customization through specialized tracks: academic, astronomy, or general concentrations. The academic track prepares students for graduate studies or careers in physics-related fields like astronomy, engineering, laser technology, or computational science. The astronomy option caters to those pursuing advanced studies in astronomy or astrophysics. The general concentration supports students applying physics knowledge to diverse areas including education, medicine, law, journalism, business, or other chosen professions. Our Universal Tracking (uTrack) system helps students maintain progress toward timely graduation by outlining semester-by-semester milestones. These benchmarks involve completing specific courses and maintaining minimum GPA standards. Note: uTrack applies exclusively to full-time, degree-seeking students.
