Students can select from a diverse range of courses spanning computer science, computer engineering, and related disciplines. They must fulfill the department's design, depth, and breadth criteria when choosing these courses. Consulting with academic advisors to plan a suitable program is strongly recommended.
The department mandates a minimum grade of C in all computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, and mathematics courses counting toward undergraduate degrees.
Advancement to upper-division programs within the department is competitive, contingent upon available capacity. Selection criteria encompass overall GPA, performance in lower-division required courses for both the department and Tickle College of Engineering, as well as demonstrated commitment through consistent, timely progress in the prescribed curriculum without excessive withdrawals or course repeats.
