Given today's growing reliance on technology, there's an ongoing and pressing demand for engineering graduates with both advanced technical skills and social awareness to meet their professional obligations. The Tickle College of Engineering equips students to tackle these demands while positioning them to emerge as technological pioneers in the 21st century. Those earning a Bachelor of Science degree can immediately join industry, government, or private sector roles, or continue their education through graduate studies. Their careers may involve research, innovation, design, operational analysis, construction oversight, production management, or technical sales. While many alumni work within Tennessee, engineering transcends borders, with graduates serving across the U.S. and internationally. The college provides eleven undergraduate programs, including aerospace, biomedical, chemical, civil, computer, electrical, industrial, materials science, mechanical, and nuclear engineering, along with computer science.
