The accounting program (4110) equips students for careers in public, private, or government accounting sectors and serves as a strong foundation for law school preparation. This major also fulfills educational requirements for the CIA, CMA, and CPA certification exams. Note that Tennessee mandates 150 credit hours to qualify for the CPA exam. To graduate with an accounting degree, students must achieve a minimum grade of C in all accounting courses.
