UT Martin provides Tennessee's exclusive four-year dance education program for K-12 students. The curriculum focuses on dance techniques, choreography, performance skills, historical studies, and comprehensive training in dance instruction methods, educational principles, and classroom applications for teaching dance across all grade levels. Graduates who successfully complete the EdTPA performance assessment will qualify for Tennessee K-12 dance teaching certification.
