The Psychology major prepares students to earn a Bachelor's Degree and pursue graduate studies or careers in diverse fields such as mental health, substance abuse counseling, corporate settings, or human resources management.
Adherence to the American Psychological Association's (APA) ethical standards is fundamental to the program. Students must comply with APA guidelines during all fieldwork and research activities. Any behavior that endangers participants' wellbeing or demonstrates professional misconduct may result in course dismissal, automatic failure, and potential program expulsion. Furthermore, students must fulfill all general education requirements for their chosen B.A. or B.S. degree, with a minor being mandatory for the B.A. track.
