The Philosophy Department, though compact, is a vibrant academic community where faculty members balance teaching with active research and scholarly pursuits. Each academic year, we organize a variety of events featuring distinguished guest speakers, conferences, and symposia. Our curriculum spans all core philosophical disciplines, including metaphysics, epistemology, ethics, and the history of philosophy. Undergraduate students can pursue either a major or minor in philosophy, with specialized tracks available in general philosophy, legal/political philosophy, and philosophy of science/medicine. The Universal Tracking (uTrack) system helps students maintain progress toward graduation by outlining semester-by-semester requirements called milestones. These benchmarks involve completing specific courses and maintaining minimum GPA standards. Note that uTrack applies exclusively to full-time students seeking degrees.
