The full-time/day program is structured for rapid completion alongside a cohort of fellow students. Participants enroll in 8 to 16 credit hours of daytime courses each semester, potentially finishing in just 12 months. MBA candidates at UT, in collaboration with the Nonprofit Leadership Center of Tampa Bay, can specialize in nonprofit management—a distinctive offering. Non-MBA students also have access to a nonprofit management certificate track, ideal for existing social sector leaders in the Tampa Bay region. Courses are co-taught by graduate business faculty and seasoned nonprofit professionals, equipping both current managers and emerging leaders with essential skills. Across the U.S., the nonprofit sector anticipates needing over 600,000 new senior managers within five years. The curriculum emphasizes crucial areas like board governance, strategic planning, budget creation, marketing, fundraising, feasibility studies, and leadership development—all tailored to enhance managerial capabilities.
