The Master of Science in Sustainability equips you to pursue interdisciplinary, solution-driven research. You can customize the program to align with your focus areas across sustainability's three core dimensions: ecological sustainability, societal sustainability, and financial sustainability.
Sustainability involves developing actionable responses to complex problems and discovering ways to create meaningful, beneficial transformations globally. As a USD sustainability student, you'll collaborate with local organizations to rehabilitate indigenous habitats, utilize campus facilities as a hands-on sustainability testing ground, and conduct field research along the Missouri River to examine ecological systems and assess anthropogenic influences on the Missouri National Recreational River.
