To earn a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology, students must fulfill the University's General Education Requirements along with a minimum of three extra credit hours in humanities, social sciences, natural/physical sciences, or mathematics. For cognate or minor requirements, courses should be chosen from humanities, social sciences, natural/physical sciences, mathematics, and/or business disciplines. These cognate courses must be upper-level classes in relevant fields and receive approval from the student's academic advisor. Additionally, students must complete at least one mathematics course above MATH A108 to partially satisfy general education math requirements. Psychology A101 is required to meet the Social and Behavioral Sciences general education component.
