Students will analyze how behavior, physical activity, functional ability, and health relate to disease development throughout life. They'll clarify how anatomical structures connect to physiological and cellular exercise processes. Learners will apply scientific methods to interpret exercise science research and public health concerns. They'll perform screenings for disease risks, evaluate physical fitness levels, and administer clinical exercise tests. Students will identify elements influencing peak motor performance during physical activity and exercise. They'll showcase advanced critical thinking by analyzing, synthesizing, and assessing information to make informed choices and address challenges in exercise science and health fields.
International freshman applicants must be high school graduates (students that have the equivalent of a diploma in the United States).
English proficiency is measured through the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). A score of at least 550 on the paper based exam or 77 on the internet based TOEFL is required. USC also accepts the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) or the PTE Academic Test. Students must score at least a 6.5 on the IELTS, or at least a 53 on the PTE.
