The Master of Science in Systems Engineering (MSSE) program emphasizes comprehensive system perspectives. With growing complexity across all domains, engineers must understand that every component functions as part of a system. The MSSE curriculum examines the complete system lifecycle from inception to retirement. This program blends theoretical foundations with hands-on, experiential learning in systems engineering. It caters both to practicing engineers seeking expanded engineering perspectives and to dedicated students exploring systems concepts. Coursework covers system lifecycles, engineering project management, systems methodology, and software systems engineering. Alumni gain the foundational knowledge to excel in industries that prioritize initial concept formulation, robust system specifications, system integration, and thorough testing protocols.
