A Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Sciences, specializing in diagnostic radiography and one advanced imaging technique like MRI, CT, vascular imaging, or mammography, prepares students for careers as proficient radiologic technologists. The curriculum provides thorough instruction in patient care, human anatomy, proper radiographic positioning, radiation safety, and image interpretation. Students develop expertise in handling advanced imaging technology, conducting accurate diagnostic tests, and generating clear medical images. They acquire focused training in their selected specialty area, perfecting methods to obtain detailed scans essential for identifying medical issues. Clinical rotations offer practical training, equipping graduates for real-world work in various medical environments.

After completing the first year of the professional program (junior year - summer term), students must choose one of three specialization paths: (1) advanced imaging including CT, MRI, Vascular, or Mammography, (2) ultrasound, or (3) radiation therapy. Please be aware that enrollment in specific modalities depends on clinical placement availability. Consequently, students will need to prioritize their top three preferences for tracks and specialties.
