The Master of Science in Environmental Management (MSEM) at USF equips students with the expertise to deliver scientifically grounded solutions for pressing global environmental issues, ranging from climate stabilization to securing fair access to pure air and water resources. This cross-disciplinary curriculum empowers professionals to excel in environmental agencies, consulting practices, corporate sectors, and nonprofit entities.
Spanning 30 units, our program delivers a balanced yet adaptable curriculum that bridges environmental science and engineering with policy and management principles. Students can specialize in Ecology, Water Management, Environmental Health & Hazards, or Energy and Climate, while also having the opportunity to earn a GIS certification. The program combines hands-on training with theoretical foundations, molding graduates into capable environmental leaders for lifelong professional impact.
