The Master of Science in Environmental Management (MSEM) at USF equips students with the expertise to deliver scientifically grounded solutions for pressing global environmental issues, ranging from climate stabilization to securing fair access to pure air and water resources. This cross-disciplinary curriculum empowers professionals to excel in environmental agencies, consulting roles, corporate sectors, and nonprofit initiatives.
Spanning 30 units, our program delivers a balanced yet adaptable curriculum that merges environmental sciences and engineering with policy and management principles. Students can specialize in Ecology, Water Management, Environmental Health & Hazards, or Energy and Climate, with an additional opportunity to earn a GIS certification. The program blends hands-on training with theoretical foundations, cultivating graduates who become influential environmental stewards in their professional journeys.
