Our bachelor's program is designed to equip future mathematicians, engineers, and scientists with the skills needed for thriving careers in various fields including industry, research, and business.
With 22 full-time faculty members, each holding doctoral degrees in mathematics, our students benefit from learning with and from passionate educators and top graduate students who are dedicated to teaching excellence.
Mathematics majors now have a streamlined path to earn a Philosophy minor through our collaboration with the Philosophy department. By selecting specific Philosophy courses that count toward both majors or are cross-listed, students can add this minor with just three extra classes.
We provide five undergraduate degree options: BA in Mathematics, Honors BA in Mathematics, BS in Mathematics, Honors BS in Mathematics, and BS in Applied Mathematics. Additionally, students can pursue a combined BA in Mathematics and Statistics, a Mathematics minor, certificates in Actuarial Studies or Mathematical Modeling for Political Science and Economics, and an accelerated 4+1 master's program in partnership with the Warner School of Education.
