The University of Rochester's Mathematics Department focuses on research while dedicating itself to training future mathematicians, scientists, and engineers for thriving careers across various sectors.
Undergraduate offerings feature a combined BA in mathematics and statistics, mathematics minor options, specialized certificates in actuarial studies and mathematical modeling for political science/economics, plus a collaborative master's program with the Warner School of Education.
Our undergraduate curriculum is designed to equip emerging mathematicians, engineers, and scientists with the skills needed for professional success.
