Our program provides both a major (leading to a BA degree) and a minor in archaeology, technology, and historical structures (ATHS). This undergraduate curriculum is perfect for students passionate about:
Exploring archaeology, architecture, art history, classics, or history while gaining analytical perspectives on pre-industrial material culture and technology
Pursuing mathematics or natural sciences while examining technology's influence on ancient and pre-industrial civilizations
Engineering studies focused on historical structures, materials, design, and architecture within the context of ancient monuments
Developing expertise in interpreting, conserving, and restoring historical artifacts, monuments, and infrastructure
Students can participate in faculty-led research and study abroad opportunities. Major students may also undertake a senior thesis project.
