Tailored for individuals holding a bachelor's degree outside elementary or secondary education, the M.A./TCP enables you to earn both teaching certification and a master's degree simultaneously. The Master of Arts in Education with Teacher Certification Program (M.A./TCP) caters to those with undergraduate degrees in non-education fields who seek dual attainment of teaching credentials and graduate-level education.
Enrollees in the M.A./TCP program for elementary or secondary education (covering English, history/social studies, languages, mathematics, or sciences) will pursue the relevant certification track. Secondary education candidates will fulfill both subject-area specialization requirements in these disciplines and the necessary secondary education coursework. Certification requirements may be completed prior to finishing the master's program.
