This 15-credit program offers a valuable progression for professionals holding a bachelor's or higher degree, serving as a bridge to advanced graduate studies in health or human services at URI. Featuring an interdisciplinary approach, the program involves faculty from eight distinct URI departments and colleges. The Graduate Certificate represents a significant academic advancement beyond standard continuing education for degree-holding professionals, potentially leading to further graduate-level specialization at URI. With participation from multiple disciplines, faculty members from diverse departments collaborate to deliver courses and guide students, including: Gerontology, Human Development and Family Studies, Communicative Disorders, Nursing, Nutrition and Food Sciences, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, and Kinesiology.
