The B.S. degree offers two distinct pathways:
Applied Economics: Tailored for students seeking a more quantitative approach, ideal for those aiming for roles requiring practical economic analysis skills. Calculus fundamentals are mandatory for the B.S. in Applied Economics.
Economic Theory and Methods: Best suited for students pursuing advanced economics studies.
The Economic Theory and Methods B.S. incorporates rigorous mathematics coursework. Alongside 31 economics credits, students must complete six specified math courses. While this major suits anyone wanting quantitative depth, it's especially valuable for future economics graduate students.
