Academic preparation
This involves finishing the B.S. in Dietetics, which incorporates the Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD) curriculum. The DPD program holds accreditation from the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
Hands-on training
Students must fulfill supervised practice through an ACEND-approved program. Options include completing a dietetic internship, individualized supervised practice pathway (ISPP), future education model graduate program, or combined Master's/Dietetic Internship (MS/DI) program.
