The Psychology department at URI provides both Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) and Bachelor of Science (B.S.) programs in Psychology. These degree paths introduce students to diverse specialties within the discipline, establish fundamental knowledge about human behavior and mental processes, create opportunities for hands-on learning, and develop scientific research skills. The B.A. and B.S. curricula equip students for various psychology careers, graduate programs in psychology and related fields, as well as other professional directions.
