The sculpture program is dedicated to mentoring students through the diverse opportunities this artistic discipline provides. We view sculpture as a fundamental medium that bridges conceptual ideas with physical form. Many now-separate artistic fields originally grew from sculptural roots, cultivated by creators who identified primarily as sculptors. This expansive domain embraces innovative approaches, novel materials, blended practices, and cross-disciplinary work. We motivate students to investigate every facet.
