The Master of Science in Design specializing in Environmental Building Design (MSD-EBD) is an intensive, three-term, research-driven graduate program. Expanding upon the MEBD curriculum, it includes an additional semester dedicated to a Research Studio. Tailored for architects aiming to pioneer fresh methodologies in sustainable design, this program demands diverse competencies verified through experimentation to drive meaningful progress in this evolving discipline. Architects must navigate between creative design synthesis and rigorous research analysis. The EBD Research Studio creates and evaluates physical building prototypes and components through cyclical design refinement.
Applicants must have completion of bachelor’s degree.
To be admitted without conditions, most departments require applicants to obtain a TOEFL score of 100 (internet-based) or higher, a PTE Academic score of 68 or higher, or an IELTS band score of 7.0 or higher.
