The MBA specialization in Business, Energy, Environment, and Sustainability (BEES) equips students with comprehensive knowledge to navigate the intricate connections between commerce and ecological systems, environmental risk management, and energy economics. With rapid transformations in global energy sectors and escalating ecological concerns, there's an urgent demand for skilled business professionals adept at emerging trends in corporate strategies, technological advancements, regulatory frameworks, and financial mechanisms. Those pursuing the BEES MBA concentration will be exceptionally prepared for growing career opportunities in energy firms, sustainable technology investments, energy-focused financial services, advisory roles, non-profit organizations, and public sector positions. This program delivers understanding through cross-disciplinary studies, incorporating coursework from Business Economics and Public Policy, Finance, Legal Studies and Business Ethics, Management, Marketing, and Operations Information and Decisions. Students may also apply approved classes on business-energy-environment topics from the School of Arts and Sciences, the School of Engineering and Applied Science, the School of Design, and other departments toward their Wharton BEES MBA requirements, as outlined in the following sections.
