The Cell and Molecular Biology Graduate Group (CAMB) is a cross-disciplinary graduate program offering intensive education in contemporary cell and molecular biology, equipping students for prominent roles in biomedical research. This unified program encompasses six specialized fields: Cancer Biology, Cell Biology, Physiology and Metabolism, Developmental, Stem Cell and Regenerative Biology, Gene Therapy and Vaccines, Genetics and Epigenetics, as well as Microbiology, Virology and Parasitology. Over 300 faculty researchers from 35 departments participate, representing the Perelman School of Medicine, Schools of Arts and Sciences, Dental Medicine, and Veterinary Medicine, along with Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, the Wistar Institute, and Fox Chase Cancer Center. These scientists pursue varied research interests across different experimental systems and methodologies, driving innovation in both fundamental and applied biomedical science.
