The joint Business Analytics concentration offered by the OID and STAT departments aims to develop strong expertise in key skills for implementing and managing data-driven business decisions. This includes: (1) gathering, organizing, and summarizing datasets, (2) drawing conclusions and forecasts from data, and (3) making well-informed, resilient choices. Business analytics heavily relies on statistical methods, with applications across all business functions.
