The Sustainability and Environmental Management program equips students to comprehend the environmental challenges confronting today's organizations and individuals, teaching them to integrate these considerations into decision-making across both commercial and nonprofit sectors. Graduates emerge with a comprehensive grasp of human-ecosystem relationships with our changing planet. They master fundamental physical and chemical principles while gaining expertise in atmospheric science, climate shifts, geological processes, natural disasters, and Earth's water and nutrient cycles. The curriculum also provides foundational training in environmental economics, public health, sustainable practices, renewable resources, and organizational environmental strategies. Students develop specialized knowledge about human-nature interdependencies, global and local ecological concerns, and gain proficiency in environmental governance systems and policy evolution.
