Computational and Mathematical Biology represent emerging vital fields within biological sciences. Numerous disciplines in genetics, ecology, and evolutionary studies now rely on advanced quantitative approaches. For instance, the emergence of genomic data from projects like the human genome initiative (along with comparable data from other organisms) has highlighted the necessity for computational, statistical, and mathematical approaches to manage, access, and interpret vast datasets. Acknowledging the increasing significance of these quantitative methodologies, we've established undergraduate specializations in both Computational and Mathematical Biology. These programs aim to equip students with skills for today's data-centric scientific landscape.
