The Department of Biology hosts four specialized research centers (Institute of Molecular Biology, Institute of Neuroscience, Institute of Ecology & Evolution, and Oregon Institute of Marine Biology) that unite faculty from multiple disciplines including Chemistry and Biochemistry, Anthropology, Human Physiology, Physics, Psychology, Environmental Studies, Geography, Mathematics, and Computer Science.
Biology's principal advanced degree program is the Ph.D. The curriculum provides rigorous yet fulfilling academic experiences, featuring extensive personalized guidance in each student's selected area of specialization.

We will also accept the IELTS in lieu of the TOEFL. Our minimum score requirement is 7.5
