Printmaking exposes students to various traditional methods while offering extensive insight into modern print media approaches. Students are motivated to experiment with techniques, processes, and formats while integrating cross-disciplinary exploration with other artistic mediums.

Courses cover the four primary printmaking methods: relief, intaglio, lithography, and screenprinting. Intermediate/Advanced Printmaking is available each spring semester for students proficient in at least two printmaking techniques. In this upper-level course, participants build upon conventional methods and investigate emerging artistic expression by experimenting with marks, matrices, and multiples.
