Our photography program focuses on conceptual thinking and contextual understanding, with process serving as a pathway to creative outcomes. To broaden students' exploration of photographic possibilities, we provide varied courses including Film & Darkroom, Large Format, The Photographic Book (Digital Photography II), Alternative Processes, Conceptual Strategies, Constructed Image, and Advanced Photography - all integrated with contemporary critical theory. The curriculum balances digital and analog technical training while fostering critical analysis and writing abilities.

Undergraduates build technical and theoretical foundations through structured coursework, preparing them for specialized study in their chosen photographic path. The BFA program supports advanced photographic projects while promoting cross-media experimentation, bridging undergraduate and graduate studies.
