The impact of German and Nordic traditions on contemporary society is immeasurable. From philosophy to theology, social sciences to mental health studies, musical arts, jurisprudence, governance, and historical research, German-language intellectuals have shaped our worldview.
The German and Scandinavian studies program provides undergraduates with interdisciplinary exploration of these cultural contributions within their original societal frameworks. This curriculum merges intensive language instruction with cross-disciplinary literary studies from the German and Scandinavian Department.
