The School of Electrical and Computer Engineering provides both bachelor's and advanced degree programs in electrical and computer engineering. Our devoted professors deliver top-tier educational programs. Faculty achievements have led to significant academic output. In 2007, research funding exceeded $5.17 million, supported by organizations like the National Science Foundation (NSF), National Institutes of Health (NIH), and U.S. Department of Transportation, focusing on key areas including Biomedical Engineering, Instrumentation & Control, Solid State, Transportation, and Display Technology. Additional support comes from the Oklahoma Center for Advancement of Science and Technology (OCAST) alongside local industry collaborators. As part of the University of Oklahoma, this school stands among the largest departments within the Gallogly College of Engineering. Currently, approximately 503 undergraduate and 158 graduate students learn under the guidance of 23 Norman campus faculty members and four instructors at the Tulsa campus.
