Big Data – two simple terms that significantly influence corporate decision-making. Businesses of all sizes utilize data experts to identify lucrative opportunities, understand customer profiles, assess and forecast risks, boost operational productivity, anticipate system behavior, and conduct sophisticated simulations. Data Science and Analytics involves creating analytical frameworks to derive insights from massive, intricate datasets. Alumni will gain expertise in crafting tools for data extraction, integration, and interpretation, along with the systems knowledge to forecast and improve organizational outcomes across private and public sectors. The University of Oklahoma provides a Graduate Certificate and Master of Science in Data Science and Analytics. Existing OU undergraduates can pursue an accelerated BS/MS path, dual degrees, or add our certification. The MS program offers flexible delivery through on-campus, online, or hybrid formats. Enrollment begins in Summer (June), Spring (January), or Fall (August). Full-time students can finish in just 14 months, with part-time alternatives also available.
