The Master of Science program aims to enhance professional skills or lay the foundation for doctoral studies. This curriculum mandates 24 semester hours of coursework plus 6 semester hours dedicated to thesis completion. Alternatively, a non-thesis track requires 33 semester hours of classes, with students needing to successfully complete an oral comprehensive exam.
Participants must choose between the thesis or non-thesis pathway by the conclusion of their second semester in the OU CS Master's program.
