The School of Electrical and Computer Engineering provides both bachelor's and advanced degree programs in electrical and computer engineering disciplines.
Our devoted professors strive to deliver top-tier educational programs. Their hard work has led to outstanding achievements. In 2007, research funding exceeded $5.17 million, supported by organizations like the National Science Foundation (NSF), National Institutes of Health (NIH), and U.S. Department of Transportation, with significant focus areas including Biomedical Engineering, Instrumentation & Control, Solid State technology, Transportation systems, and Display Technology. Additional backing comes from the Oklahoma Center for Advancement of Science and Technology (OCAST) alongside local industry collaborators.
As part of the Gallogly College of Engineering at the University of Oklahoma, our School maintains one of the most substantial programs. Currently, we support approximately 503 undergraduate and 158 graduate students, guided by 23 faculty members in Norman and four additional professors at our Tulsa campus.
