For over six decades, the University of Oklahoma's Professional Writing program has equipped students to succeed as independent authors of books, screenplays, magazine features, and short stories across both fiction and nonfiction genres. Our faculty comprises published authors with commercial success, offering valuable real-world expertise and creative insight in their teaching.
