Organizational communication research examines how people interact to form, grow, and sustain various groups and institutions, including nonprofits, healthcare providers, government agencies, educational bodies, and businesses. The curriculum covers academic theories about leadership, cultural dynamics, decision-making processes, workplace relationships, technological applications, and related subjects. Learners acquire skills in both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, enabling them to pursue scholarly investigations and produce thesis or dissertation work aligned with their academic focus. The University of Oklahoma's Communication Department hosted the 25th Annual Organizational Communication Mini Conference as part of their sponsorship initiatives.
